by Pastor Danny Joiner
 |
|
Beginning March 7th, 2010, Bread of Life Worship Center located in Byron,
and Highest Praise Church of God located in Warner Robins will become one congregation. The new
church will be called Bread of Life Church of God and will meet in the
facilities at 244 Barker Rd,
in Byron. Both congregations are extremely excited about the possibilities of
new ministries that the combined churches can enter into.
Bishop Billy Stuckey from Highest Praise will serve as the Senior Pastor, and
Reverend Danny Joiner from Bread of Life will be the Associate Pastor. Bishop
Stuckey and his wife, Brenda, have been ministering for over 30 years and have
been very successful in building churches and children’s ministries. Reverend
Brenda Stuckey will be coordinating
Children
Church, and Mrs. Rhonda Joiner will be leading the
music department.
Bread of Life Church of God’s Declaration of Faith is, “We believe the whole
Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of
God. We believe in the sanctity of the Trinity and the resurrection of Jesus
Christ.”
Our goal is to “reach the lost world with the message of love, hope and healing
through Jesus Christ.”
Bread of Life Church of God offers Sunday School at 10 a.m.; Sunday Morning
Worship at 11 a.m.; Sunday Night Services at 5 p.m. and Wednesday Night Services
at 7 p.m. Sunday School offers classes for children, teens, young adults, adults
and Senior Adults. On Wednesday nights, there will be clubs for boys and girls
ages 6 – 12.
Bread of Life believes in being an active ministry in the community. Our
outreach ministries include both Angel Food ministries and Food Bank ministries.
We are also a drop-off point for clothing that is then given to Goodwill.
The second Friday of each month, our Senior Adults will be hosting a luncheon at
11:30 a.m. for those 50 and over. Everyone is welcome – bring a covered dish and
come enjoy great fellowship and make new friends.
