From Monday, April 27 through Thursday, April 30,
Middle Georgia will experience a much needed
"spiritual bailout" with speakers Dr. Tony
Evans, Evangelist Nick Vujicic, and Evangelist Willie
Raines lifting up the name of Jesus at the Middle
Georgia Community Crusade. Make plans now to attend
and to invite your friends and family to be a part of
an inspirational and uplifting "spiritual
stimulus" during the four-day Middle Georgia
Community Crusade.
Along with Dr. Tony Evans, crusade planners are
excited to welcome Evangelist Nick Vujicic to Middle
Georgia. Nick will speak on Wednesday, April 29 and
Thursday, April 30 at Second Baptist Church in Warner
Robins. Born 25 years ago without arms or legs, Nick
has faced countless challenges and obstacles, but God
has given him the hope and strength to surmount what
others might call the impossible. The Lord has placed
within Nick an unquenchable passion to share the hope
in Jesus that he has found.
Traveling to over 19 nations, Nick has been humbled
by the continuous opportunities that the Lord has
given him to share his testimony along with the hope
that he has in Jesus with people in many nations and
situations. Nick's greatest joy in this life is to
introduce Jesus to those he meets and to tell them of
Jesus' great desire to get to know them personally by
allowing Him to become their Lord and Savior.
One of Nick's favorite verses from the Bible is
found in Psalm 139:17-18, "How precious to me are
your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains
of sand."
God has used Nick to reach people in schools,
churches, prisons, orphanages, hospitals, stadiums and
in face-to-face encounters to let them know how very
precious they are to God. Nick tells them that God has
a plan for their lives that is purposeful.
Nick says, "God took my life, one that others
might disregard as having any significance, and filled
me with His purpose and showed me His plans to move
hearts and lives toward Him. Understanding this,
though faced with struggles, you can overcome
too."
Nick asks that everyone be encouraged today as you
read this promise from the Lord found in Jeremiah
29:11 of the Bible, "For I know the plans I have
for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a
future."
