Haynesville First Baptist
Dedicates New Worship Center

Haynesville First Baptist Church, a member of the Rehoboth Association, held dedication services on July 20th for a new Worship Center.

Haynesville First Baptist is 184 years old, the oldest Southern Baptist church in the Rehoboth Baptist Association. It has experienced tremendous growth under Senior Pastor David B. Fisher. Since June 1st of this year, the church has increased an average of 100 people in the Worship service on Sunday mornings.

Rev. Fisher says that Haynesville is an old church with a new vision.

"Not only are we reaching people in our community, but we have people driving from Warner Robins, Perry, Hawkinsville, Unadilla, Cochran, and Dublin to attend our services. It is amazing to see what God is doing in our church," Rev. Fisher said.

The Peachland Quartet of the Atlanta area brought the special music and Rev. Tim Millwood, Director of Missions for the Rehoboth Baptist Association preached the Dedicatory message. The noon meal was catered by the Steak House in Hawkinsville.

Haynesville First Baptist Church is located on Hwy. 341 between Perry and Hawkinsville.

"Haynesville First Baptist is alive and well. To God be the Glory; Great things our Lord is doing," said Rev. Fisher.
