Whitewater Rafting. What better

way to end the dog days of

summer than a road-trip to the

Nantahala River for a day of rafting?

We’ll be rafting down one of

the most scenic rivers in the

Southeast, led by Captain Doug

MacMillan and his Chief Bosun’s

Mate, John Sawyer. No previous

whitewater experience is

required. We’ll meet at the church

at 7:30 a.m. and please eat breakfast

before you come. We’ll

return to Middle Georgia by 9:30

pm. Cost is $25. Contact the First
